When our CO2 pads are placed with flowers, they increase carbon dioxide
3-4 times the normal levels in refrigerated environments. The results
help preserve the life of fresh cut flowers by achieving the following:
- Plant metabolism slows down and water intake increases.
- Aerobic bacteria and mold growth are inhibited.
- Lighter ethylene gas and oxygen are displaced with heavier carbon dioxide, inhibiting shedding and senescence.
